This basic Mandarin course is for people with zero prior knowledge of Mandarin. During the course, you will be introduced to the Chinese language. We will dedicate most attention to speaking and putting together simple sentences. While we will be introducing Chinese characters in this course, you will just be familiarised with this writing system and will not need to write characters. You will learn to read Hanyu Pinyin, China's system for writing Chinese in Western characters. Furthermore, we will teach you how to distinguish the different tones in Mandarin.
