Introductory Japanese Language Course

This Introductory Japanese class gets you started with the fundamentals of Japanese language. It is the first course to get started, and to join this course, you do not need any prior knowledge of the Japanese language.

Grammatically, we will make a start with writing in Japanese through Hiragana. We will also cover spoken Japanese, so that at the end of this course, you will be able to have simple conversations in Japanese.

This short course takes 5 weeks, after which you can proceed to the standard JLPT syllabus course: Japanese Elementary Level 1A . The entire Elementary Japanese course covers 4 levels, each of 10 lessons.

Should you want to go for JLPT certification, you can do so when you complete the Japanese Elementary 1 and 2 courses. Togther, there courses are designed to bring your level up to JLPT level N5,

I was worried if I could understand the classes initially as they were taught by native Japanese teachers. However, after the first few lessons, I realised that I was looking forward to the next lesson after every class. My Sensei was really patient and approachable. Thanks Aoba! I'm now able to converse in simple Japanese with my Japanese friends!

Went for the Basic 1 course and felt that this school is little different from others. The classes are small, and you get to interact with the teachers more. They are also very patient in teaching the basics. I think this approach is better as they ensure that your foundations are laid right. They will also provide extra help or materials if you need it. I just finished my Basic 1 course and will definitely continue it. No regrets at all! :D
