If you want to study Chinese, the Hutong School is the best choice you can do! They provide everything to make your stay as good as possible and their studying environment is simply excellent. The staff is just super nice and always listening the students, in order to hellp them. You can really count on them! No regrets in my choice!

Great staff, teachers and courses. I spent 7 months in Beijing studying at Hutong School. Besides the courses it offers great opportunities to immerse in the Chinese culture and meet new people. Highly recommended!

I spent 6 months in Hutong School in 2006 and those were 6 awesome months. I ended up speaking reasonably decent Chinese. Small groups with great teachers, very interesting activities and the most helpful staff made my stay there an unforgettable experience. And all this in the middle of Old Beijing!

Good teachers, good lessons, BUT: the appartment was really bad, the backoffice-service horrible. I asked for 5 weeks to fix the problems. After 6 of 8 weeks finally we got an new, good appartment... The time was still fun, but because of the people, not because of the school

Spent 3 months on an intensive language course at the Hutong school and would go back without even hesitating... but then for 6 months! Great school, friendly, professional teachers, teaching materials are from University in Beijing. I've you're a bit behind, you'll get extra classes for free and staff is always willing you help you with all your needs, even if this is not directly their duty (buying phone, credit, opening bank account, visa extension, vaccinations at the hospital, buying a bike, going shopping, etc etc.). These guys are really the best, atmosphere is great. I have to stop writing now, because it seriously makes me want to go back...
